In the interest of full disclosure I am not a fan of Barack Obama. I didn’t think he was qualified to be the Democratic nominee, and I still don’t believe he is qualified to be president. While I don’t ever want an American president to “fail,” I would’ve preferred to not be put in the position to have to rail against the bulk of his agenda – which is bad for our country in many ways. I was one of those people who felt America would regret electing him, despite the historic circumstances surrounding his victory. Sadly it appears I was right. Only 43% of Americans say they would vote to re-elect him today, and he loses head-to-head against potential 2012 candidate Mike Huckabee in a recent poll. In fact, self-identifying Independent voters – who usually make or break presidential elections – favor newly-elected senator Scott Brown over Obama by 12 points in a hypothetical 2012 match-up! His approval rating plummeted from his high of 69% when he entered office to 47% in December, an all-time low for a first-year president.

After a year of the most dismal presidency since Jimmy Carter, and perhaps ever, it’s hard to understand how so many of his supporters are still standing firmly behind him. A friend directed me to this quote this morning, and I found it very appropriate:

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” – Reuters.com user

However, 2012 is a long way away. Odds are most Americans will be more caught up in the Mayan Doomsday philosophy than the presidential election. Short attention spans are as prevalent in our society as Apple iProducts, as we move from one distraction to the next often failing to remember what seemed so important days or weeks ago. It seems the things we forget the most are those intricate details that define issues and events that affect us the most.

As I wait for Barack Obama’s historic first State of the Union address, I would like to take this opportunity to highlight what his supporters claim are his major accomplishments. After all, when Obama lists his “successes” tonight, they are unlikely to come with a disclaimer. Enjoy:

Obama instructed his cabinet to cut $100 million.

This amounted to 1/37,000 of his budget plans. That’s like saving 68 cents on a $25,000 car, or having your boss cut your $50,000/year salary by $1.35. Way to go Mr. President!

Obama began the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

Of course the date was agreed to by the Bush Administration and the Iraqi government, but I guess Obama only blames Bush for the bad stuff.

Obama respected the Freedom of Information Act.

Unless it pertains to actual information: The Obama Administration honored just 42 of 245 requests for information by Judicial Watch under FOIA, prompting some to call his administration “more secretive than Bush’s ever was.”

Obama said “lobbyists won’t find a job in my White House.”

Even CBS News says Obama and his administration have met “early and often” with lobbyists since entering the White House a year ago. Furthermore, 11% of his senior officials, as of May 2009, had lobbied within the past 5 years.

Obama removed restrictions on embryonic stem-cell research.

However, a few days later he signed a law preventing federal funds going to “research in which a human embryo or embryos are destroyed, discarded, or knowingly subjected to risk of injury or death.”

Obama pledged to close GITMO within one year.

Well, it’s been one year and five days and GITMO is still open. In fact, his proposal to close the detainment facility includes relocating prisoners to Illinois, aka GITMO North. What’s the difference between an open detainment facility in Cuba and one in Illinois, you ask? Ask the people of Illinois.

Obama saved the U.S. Auto industry.

After spending millions of tax payer funds on GM and Chrysler to stave off bankruptcy, both companies filed for bankruptcy anyway, here and here. Chrysler had no new models on display at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, yet plans to air a $2.5 million Superbowl ad after receiving a $15 billion taxpayer bailout. Meanwhile Ford, which opted to not receive bailout funds, is on the mend.

Obama helped those with bad mortgages.

ABC News: “On September 9, 2009, the Treasury Department announced that the program had helped 360,165 homeowners reduce their mortgage payments. However, that is only 16 more homes than received new foreclosure filings during the month of July, according to RealtyTrac.” In addition, the plan did not lower principal, even for homeowners who owe more than their house is currently worth.

Obama passed a $787 billion economic stimulus plan.

Widely accepted as a failure, there is still $522b unspent as reports now come in that the stimulus plan will cost taxpayers an additional $75 billion. The Obama administration claimed that unemployment would rise above 8% if they did not pass the bill, yet unemployment has been around 10% for some time now. Furthermore, even Obama had to abandon his “jobs saved or created” spin, when the reality became too much to ignore. There are no jobs.

Obama put an end to earmarks.

Well, there were only 9,000 in the stimulus bill, so that’s progress, right?

Obama saved the banks.

All of the tax payer money funneled into the banks has done nothing to increase lending. It has only served to fix the books at these banks. Even former Clinton labor secretary Robert Reich gives the Obama bank bailouts an “F” grade.

Obama went after huge bonuses.

No, Obama went after huge bonuses at banks and AIG. The ones given out by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were “too high,” according to Rep. Barney Frank, but were ignored.

Obama ended U.S. torture policy.

Tying the hands of intelligence officials has made us less safe – bottom line. Because of Obama’s weak policy on terror suspects, the Christmas Day bomber was not even interrogated. He spent 50 minutes with the FBI and no time with the CIA prior to being Mirandized. In fact, the High-Value Interrogation Group, a unit of terror specialists Obama said he would create to deal with terror suspects captured abroad, wasn’t brought in – and still isn’t fully operational.

Obama improved our image abroad.

Really? There are people out there that believe this? Here’s a quick rundown of how miserable Obama’s foreign policy has been: First Interview Fail, Great Britain Fail, France Fail, China Fail, Japan Fail, North Korea Fail, Middle-East Fail, Iran Fail, World Tour Fail, Engaging the Muslim World Fail, Afghanistan Fail, Honduras Fail, Missile Defense/Eastern Europe Fail, Russia Fail, Copenhagen Fail, Copenhagen Fail II, And thanks to the Washington Times:

“Other embarrassing Obama moments on the world stage include: giving England’s Queen Elizabeth II an iPod with his own speeches on it; giving British Prime Minister Gordon Brown a collection of DVDs that were not formatted to the European standard (by contrast, Mr. Brown gave Mr. Obama an ornamental desk-pen holder made from the oak timbers of Victorian anti-slaver HMS Gannet, among other historically significant gifts); calling “Austrian” a language; bowing to the Saudi king; bowing to the Japanese emperor; releasing a photo of a conference call with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in which the president was showing the soles of his shoes to the camera (an Arab insult); saying “let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s”; saying the United States was “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world”; suggesting Arabic translators be shifted from Iraq to Afghanistan where Arabic is not a native language; sending a letter to former French President Jacques Chirac when Nicolas Sarkozy was the president of France; holding a town-hall meeting in France and not calling on a single French citizen; referring to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when he meant Cinco de Mayo; and failing in a last minute personal appeal to the International Olympic Committee to hold the 2016 Olympics in Chicago. Mr. Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize capped the year by drawing attention to his lack of achievement.”

Obama implemented consumer credits for hybrids and the Cash for Clunkers program.

The hybrid credit resulted in free golf carts for all! Yep, it’s true! And the Cash for Clunkers program was an unadulterated failure.

Obama ended no-bid contracts.

Oops, not so fast! A $25,000,000 contract to a big donor to the Obama campaign and DNC just went out last week.

Obama appointed the first Latina to the Supreme Court.

A controversial “Latina” who said, “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.” Also, 60% of her cases which later reached the Supreme Court were overturned. Sounds great!

Obama limited salaries of senior White House aides to $100,000.

That’s great, except that the number of federal workers earning six-figure salaries has exploded during the recession.

Obama pledged to unite the country, and change the way Washington works.

That’s funny, because he is the most polarizing first-year president ever. And of course let us not forget about the bribes, secret deals, and special treatment for friends.

Obama pledged transparency.

Apparently, pledges are meant to be broken.

Obama focused on domestic policy.

Oh, right. Here you go: Health Care Fail, Cap & Trade Fail, Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Fail, Defense of Marriage Act Fail, Jobs Fail, and Security Fail.

Watch the State of the Union address or don’t, it hardly matters. Obama has proven that he doesn’t say what he means – nor means what he says. I don’t expect anyone to remember any of this for the 2010 elections, let alone those in 2012. However, these things matter. Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, liberal, moderate or conservative – these things matter. We elect (hire) these people to do a job, and when they don’t, we should hold them accountable – regardless of our ideologies. When people like Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid pretend to represent the best interests of the American people, we need to replace them with people who actually deliver. It’s as simple as that.

Stop Feeling. Start Thinking.

Being a lesbian, I know how emotional women can be.  I’ve been in a handful of relationships, most of which ended because I have little tolerance for those who allow their emotions to rule the way they believe and run their entire lives.  I, like any breathing human being, have had my moments.  However I can honestly look back on those times and admit that the outcomes were poor because I didn’t control my emotions.  I’ve learned the value of being able to keep my wits about me.  There are times when allowing emotions to show are a good thing, but allowing them to rule your entire life often ends in disaster.

There is no debating a liberal, and it’s because of how emotional they are.  If you get into any political discussion with a liberal it will rapidly deteriorate into arguing, name-calling and personal attacks.  Liberals can’t debate in a civil manner for one reason: they base their beliefs on what they feel.  They are purely emotional and cannot fathom basing their beliefs on anything other than what they feel.

I watched a protest in San Diego against Prop 8 in which a woman marched, wearing naught but her thong and bra, with “stripped of human rights” painted across her torso.  I saw protesters carrying signs that said “Stop the Christian Taliban” (oh, if only they’d be so vehement in their support of our mission in Afghanistan).  All of the displays–indeed, the demonstration itself–were based purely on an emotional response to gay marriage being repealed in California.  What astounds me is that it took the support of a large number of Democrats to pass Prop 8, yet the blame was laid entirely at the feet of Christians.  Not one protest was leveled at Democrats who supported the legislation.

Anti-war protests routinely include peace symbols, desecrated flags, burning effigies of Bush and Cheney, and the ever-present constant singing of “Give Peace a Chance” (as if we never considered peace in the first place and diplomacy wasn’t on the table the entire time Clinton was in office).  Also present are claims of soldiers being rapists and murderers.  In the past eight years, no fewer than six of the left’s poster children of military atrocities have been exposed as frauds–all of them claiming to be decorated soldiers who either committed or witnessed brutality.  Yet every time another one pops up they are accepted without question and put forth as “brave souls” whose stories need to be told.

Arguments about universal healthcare always go back to tales of those who became seriously ill and didn’t have insurance.  What the MSM never admits is that their examples were not being denied treatment; they were involved in programs set up just for those in serious situations with no insurance.  They choose which stories to tell and how much information to give because of the emotional value of those stories.  If they get to your emotions, they can make you see it their way: nobody should ever be denied treatment for any reason.  It’s just not fair that some can afford better care than others, you see, so we need to level the playing field.

It is emotions that drive liberals.  They can dump on Christians while protecting Muslims because they feel like Christians have done too much supposed damage.  They can condemn Israel’s most recent actions against Hezbollah and Hamas because they feel sorry for the innocents used as human shields by the terrorists.  They can blame Katrina on Bush, call those who refuse to support illegal immigrants racists, and enact hate crime laws–all because it’s how they feel.

I’ve had liberals call me everything from “stupid” to “drooling retard” to “self-loathing closet case” and every idiotic profanity in between.  I’ve been called intolerant by those who have never listened to an opposing view with an open mind in their entire lives.  All of us have.  Liberals have begun to love winning arguments the idiot’s way: attack a person who disagrees with you personally, tear them down, and nobody will want to listen to them, much less side with them.  As long as that’s how they feel, though, I suppose it’s okay.  If that’s the way you’re going to look at it, however, you can’t get mad at the 9/11 hijackers.  They attacked us because it FELT right to them.

I don’t care about how you feel about a certain political issue–I want to know what you think.  I want you to listen to all sides of the issue with an open mind and decide, based on facts, what makes the most sense, and debate with me in a civil manner based on the facts rather than resorting to emotional outbursts of ignorance.  The only way to know what you believe is to stop feeling and start thinking.

The Hateful Right… oops, I mean Left.

When Right Pride launched in late September 2009 we were eager to promote conservative values within the gay community and bring a gay perspective to those issues – finding common ground with Independents, Republicans and Conservatives in Nevada. In October we became the second affiliate of GOProud, a national gay conservative group. I’m sure you can imagine how excited everyone in the GOProud family was to learn in early December that they would be co-sponsoring CPAC – the largest annual gathering of conservative groups in the nation.

The fallout from this announcement has been loud and widespread. GOProud has been assaulted by far-right organizations as well as those on the far-left. But the level of hatred coming from the liberal gay community is something I have not witnessed in a very long time. I have decided to highlight some of this hate to illustrate exactly why groups like GOProud – and Right Pride – must exist. If the gay left is so concerned with ending hate and intolerance, they should start by looking in the mirror. These 10 excerpts are from ONE website, on ONE day, in response to GOProud’s CPAC announcement. I left out the posts containing profanity, childish insults and name-calling.

Headline: “Gay Republican Group GOProud to Co-Sponsor CPAC Conference”

1. “One simply can’t write comedy like this.”

- Why is it considered comical that all gay people do not share the exact same set of values? All Americans fall into labels based on gender, race, religion, and of course sexual preference. Do these people also find it comical that there are women on both ends of the political spectrum? Or Hispanics? Or Catholics?

2. “I just don’t know how any member of GOProud can justify themselves. Their priorities are definitely screwed up.”

- Our priorities are to bring a gay perspective to conservative issues. Are there any liberal groups doing this? When was the last time HRC launched a media blitz on how anti-gay the Death Tax is, or how school choice and vouchers give gay parents (and gay students) the ability to find more tolerant environments? Is it really ‘screwed up’ to look at issues beyond gay marriage? I think not.

3. “…and in other news, the Sherman Oaks “Jews For Hitler” Christmas Fundraiser is slated to be held at…..”

- When Focus on the Family hauls a few million gays to a gas chamber, we can start comparing conservatives to Hitler and gays to Jews. Oh wait… Islamic countries put gays to death all the time. Surely liberals stand strong against radical Islam. Oh, they don’t? Hmm…

4. “They obviously just troll these events looking for “ex”-gays and other closet cases to hook up with. GOProud is totally ineffective and kinda sad.”

- It seems to be impossible for gay liberals to think outside of their homosexuality. CPAC is not a singles’ cruise, and I can’t imagine anyone confusing it with one. Spending time talking about real issues that affect all Americans is far more productive than hanging around at galas fundraising for placating politicians while drinking Hopey-Changey Kool-Aid and consoling each other on their perpetual victim status.

5. “The sad fact is GOProud is anything but, more like GOSelf hate.”

- The “self hate” argument is one I hear all the time. It’s as if the gay left sees gay marriage as the solitary issue facing America, and if you dare think beyond it – you are rejecting your homosexuality. I was an American long before I developed sexuality. Forgive me if I feel that issues affecting 350 million Americans deserve some attention. Who I choose to have a relationship with has nothing to do with high taxes, a strong economy and a safe and secure nation. Who’s being narrow-minded?

6. “These guys are going to spend money and time fighting to elect people who will oppress them, and who will urge other Americans to do the same?”

- How many gay liberals worked for, and donated to, the Obama campaign? Barack Obama defines marriage the same way as George W. Bush – between one man, and one woman. In fact this definition is also shared by Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, John Kerry and a whole host of prominent politicians. The two most visible Republicans in recent years to come out with strong support for gays are Dick Cheney and Rudy Giuliani. If only the gay left looked past their hateful and jaded disposition long enough, they might not have missed it.

7. “At this point it seems as if the gay conservatives are more interested in pissing off the gay community than effecting any real change. All of our anger at them just makes them hard.”

- At this point it seems as if the gay left is more interested in pissing off the Christians than effecting any real change. Perhaps if they fought for RIGHTS instead of LANGUAGE, we gays would be arguing over the definition of marriage while filing joint tax returns.

8. “No matter what you may think of gay Republicans, the LCR or GOProud, and their stated objectives, there is NO denying that the groups have been an utter failure in their mission.”

- Gay Republicans have long fought to promote tolerance within the Republican Party by looking past our differences and finding common ground on the core values that define us. The alternative approach, exercised by the gay left, is to alienate these people and then call them bigots when they oppose pro-gay legislation. It only takes a brief look at Jimmy Carter’s policies on the economy, Bill Clinton’s stance on terrorism and Barack Obama’s attitude toward everything to learn that ignoring a problem doesn’t make it go away.

Remind me: Were Democrats as tolerant toward gays 50 years ago, while they were busy turning the hoses on black activists in the South? Gays worked within the Democratic Party to promote tolerance, why is it wrong for us to do the same in our party?

Furthermore, on the topic of failure, how’s the gay marriage battle going? 0-31? Nice record. Recent polls show that 33% of America supports gay marriage and 72% support civil unions. Yet somehow, the gay left thinks gay conservatives are the ones headed in the wrong direction.

9. “I would live for anyone from one of these groups to explain why they would belong to and support a group with a 30 plus year record of absolute failure.”

- First you’d have to ask, instead of attacking us for having different views and priorities. George W. Bush, if you listen to the gay left, was the most religious and anti-gay president in our nation’s history. Yet somehow aside from one issue – his support of a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage – he was far more pro-gay than he’ll ever get credit for. This is ignored by the gay left because he’s still a Republican. The reason the gay left only sees failure, is that their definition of success is turning every Republican into a bleeding-heart liberal.

10. “I simply can not respect or be close with anyone who honestly believes that unchecked free-market capitalism, religious traditionalism and a busy, inflated military is the best policy for the well-being of the people.”

- I would no sooner judge someone unworthy of friendship because of who they vote for, than I would for who they choose to sleep with. That’s the difference between me and the gay left – I return the tolerance I ask for. However, for the record: Not every Republican is for “unchecked free-market capitalism” and “religious traditionalism” just like not every Democrat is for unfettered socialism and Atheism. In addition, I do not know one American who believes that a “busy, inflated military” is better for the “well-being of the people” than a strong military that is equipped and able to keep us safe, effective at waging necessary wars and unparalleled in their ability to assist hard-hit regions like Haiti with humanitarian aid.

Core conservative values meet three criteria:

1. Small Government: The federal government was created by the states to oversee issues of national importance. It was never meant to control the states or to exercise any powers not explicitly given to it in the Constitution.

2. Keep your nose out of my business: The greatest benefit of being an American is our freedom. All Americans have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – free from government interference or oppression. Being gay, being free from discrimination for being gay and having the same legal protections as all Americans are CONSERVATIVE ideals! Liberty! Individual freedom! Some in the far-right may be unable to reconcile this with their religious beliefs, but the fact remains.

3. Keep your hands out of my pockets: The government generates no money outside of what it takes from us, the people. We work hard to educate ourselves, earn a decent living and achieve the American Dream. While we should all pay taxes for essential services, we should not be responsible to pay for every special interest program and pet project Congress can think of – or to fix all the mistakes they make. That is true oppression.

If there are people who genuinely believe that these three criteria are “anti-gay,” “evil,” “crazy,” or “oppressive” – words I’ve heard used to describe conservative values for years – then they are horribly uninformed and outright un-American. Our nation was founded on these principles, and while those on the left may have forgotten that, most Americans have not.

While these so-called crusaders for gay equality spend millions of dollars (donated by hard-working gay and straight Americans) failing to pass gay marriage across our nation, groups like GOProud – and Right Pride – work hard on a wider range of issues affecting the gay community and all Americans. Issues, dare I even speak them here, such as tax reform, government spending, foreign policy, and defending the Constitution. Who would do that if we didn’t? Liberals?

I recently tagged Obama Appoints ‘Trans Woman’ to Commerce Department; Gays Hail His ‘Rocket Pace’ of Diversity on Facebook with the following sentiment:

“And again, when the gay Left community is thrown a bone, no matter how small–they practically strangle themselves on their chains to reach for that bone like the good little Democrat, boot-licking, dog slaves they are; never mind that Obama has screwed the gay community because they are a minority to be used and abused in the Leftist effort to destroy all of their other freedoms; despite his stated belief that marriage is between a man and woman. But, maybe that’s too much TRUTH for some to handle. Ouch!”

I know that sounds harsh–but, sometimes the truth is harsh.  As Ann Coulter has stated,  “The truth cannot be delivered with Novocain.”

I will not be used like this anymore.  Leftists down through history have used minorities and the disenfranchised as an excuse to provide themselves with more governmental power for the purposes of instituting top-down tyrannies.  The Democrat Party and other Leftists have been doing this for centuries, not just to the gay community, but also to other minority groups including women and blacks.  Every true effort for any particular group to be treated equally under the law has been hijacked by Leftists in this same manner.  When this happens–equal treatment under the law is no longer the priority;  growth of governmental tyranny is the priority.  To the Gay Left I say this, “Continue to celebrate–because while you are once again praising the Democrats for this little bit of a bone they have thrown to you, while you are desperately trying to reach for that bone, keep in mind that Leftists have their other hand in your back pocket, reaching for your wallet and legislating all of your other freedoms away that you take for granted– naively believing they will always be there.  I hope you can live with yourselves and sleep at night.  I couldn’t.”  This little bone they have thrown to you now provides you with the opportunity to say, “See!  The Democrats care about us!”  It provides the Democrats the opportunity to say, “We’ve thrown them a bone–we can now count on their continued support for our rag-tag constituencies to be held in check.”  The game continues and your other freedoms continue to shrink.

Free your mind, your neck, and your other freedoms and learn once and for all that you must be treated as a free individual first.  Your freedom resides in Conservatism and Classical Liberalism–and as much as you may despise the thought–that places you on the right side of the political spectrum.  Allow yourself the decency, respect, and self-esteem you deserve!

Christopher Logan, owner of Loganswarning blog, exposes Homosexuals and Muslims Team up Against Anti-Islam Church~Video.  Christopher’s blog concentrates on the threat posed to the West by radical Islam.  This particular post has brought to the forefront the unbelievable discontinuity between Leftist homosexuals who condemn Christians in this country while at the same time supporting and even elevating radical Islamists.  In some cases I should probably draw a distinction between “Liberal” homosexuals and “Leftist” homosexuals.  My concentration for the purpose of this entry is more than likely concerned with “Leftist” homosexuals–those who have hijacked the gay movement for their own big government purposes rather than a concentration on equal protection under the law for homosexuals.  Many other movements in our history have been hijacked by Leftists for the same purpose; black civil rights and women’s equality among them.  When this hijacking occurs, the movement no longer concerns itself with equal treatment as their primary purpose, but instead, inculcating a Leftist driven agenda intent on achieving a top-down tyranny.

The gay Left will defend radical Islamists who would like nothing better than to hack off our heads or see us swing by our necks.  However, when Christians in this country who disagree with homosexuals on gay marriage, as their only issue for the most part, speak out–then the gay Left will invade church services dressed in drag and assault little old ladies bearing crosses. This epitomizes the phrase “so open minded their brains have fallen out.”  Most of these same gay Leftists automatically make the assumption that because someone supports traditional marriage automatically makes them homophobic.  No…it doesn’t.  Perhaps in some cases–but, certainly not all.  Many of the conservatives I have spoken with over the years simply see the traditional family as the bedrock of a stable society.  That’s sociological; not homophobic.  Of course, the gay Left doesn’t have to understand that because their ultimate goal as Leftists is in destroying the civil society–not elevating it.

Even if their support of radical Islamists is based on anti-war sentiments their logic still does not hold water.  This is ultimately the problem I have always had with the anti-war movement.  Ultimately, I have no issues with people who are conscientiously against war for moral or religious reasons. I don’t share it because I believe mankind is imperfect and there will always be war for that very reason. However, don’t actively help to promote those who advocate violent behavior in the name of their Muslim faith or any faith for that matter.  That is what makes no sense to me. If you’re truly a “peace-promoter” then these same “peace-promoters” should be denouncing radical Islamists just as much as they denounce our own government’s war policies. Don’t actively support and uplift the radical Islamists by helping them. If you’re truly for peace then it goes both ways. A peace-promoter, much as I disagree with them philosophically, should not allow their activism to stop at our government’s doors.  They should, if they are intellectually truthful, be speaking out against Muslims who use their faith as justification for killing as well. It goes both ways.  You don’t see Cindy Sheehan wagging her finger at radical Islamists–only at her own government.

Gay men and women of good faith and good reason should be denouncing the gay Left’s support for those whose radical Muslim faith informs them to “kill the one who sodomizes and the one who lets it be done to him.”  Doing this does not diminish support for good common-sense Muslims who have not perverted their faith.
